Your account

Google sign-in shares your verified email, account identifier, and basic profile name with Spook Shack. We use them to recognize your account and determine whether you own the blog. We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, or contacts. Your email and Google identifier are not displayed publicly.

What is public

Your chosen display name, emblem, biography, location, website, and comments are public. Published blog posts are public. Drafts and archived posts are visible only to the blog owner. Do not post private information about yourself or other people.

Storage and cookies

Account details, profiles, posts, and comments are stored on this site's server and included in its backups. Essential session cookies keep you signed in for up to eight hours and protect forms. We do not add advertising or analytics cookies. Sign out to end the current session.

Conversations

Be curious and respectful. Disagreement is welcome; harassment, spam, impersonation, threats, and sharing private information are not. You can hide your own comments. The keeper can hide and restore comments to moderate the discussion. Hidden comments remain in storage and are visible to the keeper.

Your choices

You can edit or clear your public profile fields and hide your comments while signed in. For an account-data request, leave a request for the keeper without including private details; account deletion is handled by the site owner. Backup copies may remain until their scheduled expiry.

Stories and evidence

This is a personal paranormal journal. A story, theory, or encounter is not automatically a verified fact. Distinguish what you observed from what you believe.
